The mission of The Vee Kan Trust is to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for person with disabilities and their families by providing an inclusive platform to develop, showcase, market, and sell high quality products.
We are committed to:
- Supporting person with disabilities and their families in producing quality products that reflect their skills, creativity, and capabilities.
- Providing a dedicated platform where products made by persons with disabilities and their families can be displayed, promoted, marketed, and sold to the wider community.
- Developing an accessible online marketplace that connects producers with customers across Tamil Nadu and beyond.
- Creating a specialized mobile application through which customers can learn about each product, how and where it was produced, and the persons with disabilities and families behind its creation.
- Promoting dignity, independence, entrepreneurship, and sustainable income-generation among persons with disabilities.
